Methodology & limitations
Validia applies a structured quality assessment framework informed by widely used principles of academic review and evidence appraisal. The system examines key elements of a source, including the relationship between the user’s claim and the evidence presented in the document, aspects of study design, and indicators that may affect the reliability of the findings.
The assessment is designed to support critical evaluation rather than replace it. Results should be interpreted as guidance that helps identify strengths, limitations, and potential risks in a source. Scientific interpretation, contextual understanding, and final citation decisions remain the responsibility of the user. As with any analytical tool, conclusions should be considered alongside expert judgement and subject knowledge.
Data privacy & security
Uploaded documents are processed solely for the purpose of generating the validation report requested by the user. Files are not shared with other users and are not made publicly accessible.
Validia does not distribute uploaded papers or reports, and the content is not used to train external systems. Access to documents and generated reports is restricted to the submitting user within their account environment. The platform is designed to support responsible handling of research and professional materials while maintaining the confidentiality expected in academic and consultancy contexts.
About Validia
Validia was created to address a challenge that many researchers, consultants, and students quietly face: the uncertainty of whether a source truly supports the claim it is used for. In fast-paced academic and professional environments, it is common to rely on summaries, familiarity, or assumed credibility — while the deeper relationship between evidence and argument remains only partially examined.
This gap can lead to hesitation and reduced confidence in one’s own work, especially when the stakes are high and the expectation is to provide well-supported, defensible conclusions.
Developed by Hendrikson DGE in collaboration with scientists, Validia brings together practical experience and academic principles of evidence evaluation. The platform focuses on the connection between claims and evidence, helping users assess whether sources provide appropriate methodological support for the arguments they make.
